About CE-DFW


A Brief History...


CE-DFW began in March of 1998 in a home in Keller, Texas with one customer and one technician. Rene Verstraete started our company based on the concept that we could provide a wide range of warehouse equipment services at a fair price concentrating on response time and customer service.

As we have grown we have developed long term relationships with many of our customers based on trust, friendship, and mutual respect. We continually try to exceed our customers’ expectations for service and value.

In June of 2000 CE-DFW reached several mile stones. We moved into our first business location in Hurst, Texas. The growing overhead of the company with 4 full time technicians caused Rene to decide to add a full time salesman to help grow the business. In June 2000 Brian Hoffmann came to CE-DFW bringing with him prior experience and relationships in the material handling industry to the company.

In September of 2001 Bobby Barr joined CE-DFW as a second salesman and brought valuable experience in the industrial equipment sales field to the company. Due to the high level of attention given to his customer base many customers followed Bobby to CE-DFW. In October of 2001 Brian & Bobby acquired 50% of CE-DFW from Rene. The different backgrounds provided a great mixture of a corporate structure and in the field customer relations experience.

CE-DFW is now located in Fort Worth, in a considerably larger facility, with over 850 customers and 18 technicians. CE-DFW still has the best response time to service calls in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We work on virtually everything in and around a warehouse.

Over the past several years we have been very fortunate to hire key people with many years experience in both the loading dock & material handling business. The experts in our parts department have over 35 years experience to help manage over $200,000 worth of parts inventory to help reduce our customers down time.

The average CE-DFW technician has over 10 years experience and we do not have any dedicated “PM” or “Shop” technicians. We are continuously providing our technicians training both in house and at various manufacturers organized classes.

Our front office staff is dedicated to customer service and making it easy to do business with CE-DFW. Many of our customers require special billing procedures or reports and we are always happy to help however possible.

In April 2007 Rene retired and left the business in the hands of Bobby & Brian providing the best possible customer service in the industry.

Today, as it was when we began our entire team, CE-DFW’s commitment of focus is still on superior service and response. With CE-DFW, service is not a department; it is who we are.
